Book a visit to Wandlebury Country Park's fully furnished and equipped learning centre, in a carefully restored former stable range, with an enclosed picnic field and meadow.
Situated on gentle chalk hills just south of the City of Cambridge, spacious Wandlebury Country Park is a perfect place for a school or group visit throughout the year.
With chalk grassland meadows - grazed by sheep and Highland Cattle, woodlands, ponds, a traditional orchard - complete with observation beehive, and the historic 'Wandlebury Ring' - the remains of an iron age hill fort and 18th century gardens, there are a diverse range of habitats to learn about, and a fascinating history to study and explore.

We aim to provide an experience of the countryside that adults, children and young people will remember and learning activities which are fun as well as educational.
Led by our enthusiastic and experienced Education team, the emphasis is on practical, hands-on investigations and activities. Our programmes are linked to the National Curriculum and all our activities are risk assessed.
We are able to cater for pre-school, school and college groups from the Foundation Years, through Key Stage 1 to 4 to sixth form studies.
