SUMMARY:Learn to Scythe Day
DESCRIPTION:Sat 11 July\, 10am-4pm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n£75 per person\, bookin
 g essential\nThe lightweight Austrian scythe is an excellent tool for manag
 ing areas such as wildflower meadows and around trees.\nYou will learn how 
 to select and set up a scythe to suit your stature and the basics of mowing
  and sharpening. There will be ample time to practise\, and you should be a
  confident mower by the end of the day.\nThe course will be taught by Richa
 rd Brown a professional scythe tutor\n(www.wildscythe.co.uk) assisted by ot
 her skilled scythers.\nThe cost for the day is £75 per person\, including 
 the hire of scythe equipment for the day. Please tell us your height when b
 ooking so that we can ensure that we have a suitable scythe available. Scyt
 hes will also be available to buy on the day.\nTea and coffee are provided 
 but please bring your own refreshments and packed lunch. We will\, of cours
 e\, be working outside so wear outdoor clothing and dress for the weather.
  Over 18s only. Please do not bring dogs.
