 de the River Cam. Join our special Open Day and experience living heritage 
 brought to life by our volunteer guides\, who will share the mill’s remar
 kable history stretching back to the Domesday Book of 1086.\nCome and exp
 erience this wonderful working watermill set in picturesque surroundings on
  the River Cam\, in the historic village of Hinxton. \nChildren can take 
 part in the popular Where’s Ratty contest and have the chance to win a pr
 ize! \nThere are also walks along the river and picnic tables. \nThe wate
 rmill is owned by local charity Cambridge Past Present & Future and run by 
 dedicated volunteers. \nMembers free\, non-members £3 adult\, £1 per chi
 ld. No need to book. \nLast entry is 4.30pm
