 ambridge at the atmospheric Leper Chapel of St Mary Magdalene. Exploring th
 emes of isolation\, connection and collective memory\, this site-responsive
  exhibition is a chance to experience the magic of one of Cambridge’s old
 est buildings.\nThe work reflects on the lives of patients at Stourbridge H
 ospital\, who would have worshipped at the Chapel nearly 900 years ago. Thr
 ough installation and sensory engagement\, visitors are invited to step ins
 ide this breathing building - shaped by centuries of use\, adaptation and c
 are. Here\, they will encounter a set of ghost-like paper porcelain bells.\
 nThis is Francesca’s first solo exhibition\, presenting a new body of wor
 k developed over the past year through conversations with staff from Cambri
 dge Past\, Present & Future\, and in dialogue with the Chapel itself.\nFran
 cesca Tomlinson is a Cambridge-based multidisciplinary artist whose work ex
 plores historic sites\, archives and socially charged objects to uncover ov
 erlooked histories and connect them to life today.\nFor more information ab

 he Chapel on the Heritage at Risk Register. Without urgent action\, we risk

 facilities at the Chapel. The nearest public toilets are a 5-minute walk aw
 ay.\nThere is no parking at the Chapel itself\, but nearby street parking i
 s available.\nDirections can be found here.\nThe Chapel can be reached step
  free across grass or via steps from Newmarket Road. There is a large step 
 into the building.
