SUMMARY:Big Ragwort Pull
DESCRIPTION:Join the Warden team for a rewarding morning helping clear the 
 fields of ragwort ahead of our annual hay cut.\nDespite being fantastic for
  all sorts of invertebrates\, ragwort is toxic to herbivores and undetectab
 le when dried in hay. We will be pulling the plant out of specific grazing 
 and haymaking areas to keep the hay and our cattle ragwort free\, while ret
 aining it in other areas so that the cinnabar caterpillar and other inhabit
 ants still have a food source and home.\nMeet at the Wandlebury car park no
 ticeboard at 10am\nNo need to book\, just turn up.\nWhat to bring\n\nWork/
 gardening gloves (we have plenty of spares)\nSturdy footwear\nDress for the
  weather - sunhat\, suncream if needed\nWe recommend wearing trousers\, ev
 en if it is a hot day\, due to presence of thistles\, brambles\, nettles an
 d sharp grass seeds\nFood or drink to keep you going\n\nHelp care for green
  spaces and their wildlife\, get active\, meet others and enjoy learning ab
 out traditional rural practices at the same time.\nAll welcome (under 18s a
 ccompanied). No prior experience is needed\; we’ll show you how to identi
 fy ragwort and its lookalikes and provide all the tools and guidance you’
