A by-product of habitat management across our woodlands
Firewood
All our timber is a by-product of habitat management across our woodlands,
all profits from its sale are reinvested to sustain this essential work.
For collection only, from Wandlebury.
High Quality Firewood
Sourced from our own woodlands, our firewood is made from a mix of hardwoods, primarily lime, ash, sycamore and beech. This quality hardwood provides excellent fuel for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and outdoor fires, offering a dependable and enjoyable burn. Our high-quality firewood is Woodsure Certified and available in quantities of 1m³ or 2m³. Collection from Wandlebury only.
Whole Unprocessed Timber
Whole, unprocessed timber is also available to purchase at a cost of £0.50/kg. We may already have some timber at your desired dimensions and quantity, but you may need bespoke cutting to meet your specification.
Bespoke cutting requires additional time, handling and preparation, so a minimum cutting charge of £40 applies to any timber that needs to be cut to specification. This charge is in addition to the cost of the timber.
Please fill out the form below, and the Warden Team will be in contact to confirm your order and cost. Collection from Wandlebury only.
Please note, if you are based in a smoke control zone within Cambridge, you will need a DEFRA approved stove before burning any firewood indoors. More information can be found here: DEFRA Smoke Control Areas
