Scything Demonstration

Sunday 17 May 10:30-12:30
Cambridge Leper Chapel

Local Cambridge scythers from the Cambs Scything Workgroup will be cutting the small meadow between the Leper Chapel and The Chisholm Trail.
Scything is a traditional rural skill kept alive by enthusiasts and still used to cut hay in small or difficult locations, where using a tractor isn’t possible. Drop by and see these skilled mowers at work.
