Story Meadow Toddler Group for 2-5 years

Children’s workshops called, Story Meadow, are designed for children aged 2-5yrs and dedicated to sparking creativity in children through interactive storytelling and a deep connection to nature. Many of the activities run in a way similar to forest school, encouraging a love of the outdoors.
Interactive sessions spark creativity and curiosity in young minds, nurturing a love for stories and the natural world. We start by sitting together and sharing our story.
This is left open-ended, craft materials are then available – at this point, children are free to explore, play and create.
Sessions are designed to complement school curriculums by:
- Support forest school learning
- Encourage imaginative thinking
- Include mindfulness practices
- Weave in emotional intelligence
- Connect children to the environment and grow their appreciation for nature
- Siblings welcome
- Biscuits during story – feel free to bring own snacks
- Crafts to take home
Our aim is for children to be captivated by storytelling, connected to nature and encouraged to follow their imagination.
