🍃 Wild Thyme & Embers Holiday Bushcraft Club
📅 Throughout August until – Wednesday 3 September 2025 (selected dates, weekdays)
🕣 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
👧 Ages 5–12 years
Let your children trade screens for streams, shelters, and fireside stories. This fully booked bushcraft club offers:
Shelter building, fire lighting, whittling, tracking
Wilderness cooking, nature art, games, orienteering
Forest school-inspired learning in a safe, mud-loving environment
All equipment provided; children bring lunch, water, old clothes and sensible shoes
Cost: £48/day, booked via Wild Thyme & Embers website wildthymeandembers.co.uk

🚶♀️ Love Your Parks Week & Visiting the Park
Wandlebury is a welcoming green space open daily from dawn till dusk—it also features heritage and natural diversity worth celebrating during Love Your Parks Week this week.
Enjoy:
150 acres of woodlands, orchards, wildflower meadows, ponds, and ancient Iron Age ditch (Wandlebury Ring)
Over 8 km of mostly flat paths – unsurfaced but gentle gradients, minimal steps or stiles
Facilities: toilets (including disabled), picnic benches, den-building area, wildlife-hiding spot, pop-up café (every day in school holidays, Thurs-Sun during term time), and games field
🧑🦽 Mobility Access at Wandlebury
Everyone is welcome, including visitors with limited mobility:
Off-road mobility scooter available free to hire (advance booking required which can be done here)
Free parking for Blue Badge holders and members; paid parking for non-members, card-only payment
Pathways are flat and accessible; disabled toilets onsite
