This August, the extraordinary in situ: theatre returns to the Leper Chapel with a summer season of captivating performances. From ancient myth to Shakespearean tragedy to gothic ghost stories, each show is performed by the electrifying Richard Spaul, a master of voice, character, and transformation.

Whether you’re drawn to Homer’s monsters, Hamlet’s ghosts or Ovid’s shapeshifters, this is storytelling at its most alive.

The Setting: The Leper Chapel

The 12th-century Leper Chapel is one of Cambridge’s oldest buildings. It becomes a stage like no other – intimate, intense, and rich with atmosphere.

Accessibility: Limited. No on-site facilities. Expect stairs, tight space, and an intimate setting.
