Key Stages 1 and 2

A series of hands-on activities in chalk grassland, pond and woodland habitats. Uses vital scientific concepts and provides an understanding of the natural environment:
- Plant and animal structure, function, requirements and adaptations
- Habitat comparisons
- Invertebrate collecting, sorting and identifying
- Close observation and naming of wildflowers
- Lifecycles and food chains / webs
- Observation beehive, interdependence of plants and animals
- Biodiversity, park management and care of the environment
- Includes Pond Dipping and Mini-Beasts.
